Our colleague Can Mark Bittner was awarded the Leibniz Talents Prize for special academic achievements for his master's thesis. In his thesis, he examined the current state of research into the use of natural fibers in cement-bound materials and conducted experimental studies to investigate the load-bearing capacity of bamboo-reinforced beams made of ultra high performance concrete.
