As part of the lecture “Prestressed Concrete Construction,” an excursion took place on December 4, 2025, to the replacement construction of bridge structures Z1/Z1’ on the A39 near Salzgitter. The participating students were given fascinating insights into the practical implementation of the highway bridge, designed as a prestressed, two-web T-beam.
