The Leibniz Talents Prize for outstanding students was awarded for the second time in a row in category 1: "Special academic achievements" to a student supervised by our institute. In his master's thesis, the award winner Mr. Ghandi Kenjo demonstrated the potential of keyed UHPFRC dry joints in modular bridge construction on the basis of extensive numerical investigations and thus made an outstanding contribution to research into practically relevant challenges for innovative and resource-efficient bridge construction. After completing his studies, Mr. Ghandi Kenjo will join our team as a research assistant at the beginning of next year.

We would like to congratulate him on the Leibniz Talents Prize!
